That's what it says in the top left hand corner of this Hooty Owl worksheet Sylvia did around Halloween. Then the kids should write about what Hooty Owl might have seen on Halloween night. (I will transcribe the 1st grade writing to adult English, so you don't have to decode the words)
Hooty Owl sees the trick or treaters on Halloween night Smells trees hears people saying trick or treat trick or treat give me something good to eat if you don’t I will pull down your underwear
I'll bet Hooty's eyes were wide open that night!

No comment. She wrote things like "complete sentences?" and circled all the lack of periods and mispelled words that she's supposed to know.
She didn't mention it at conferences last week either. Elementary school teacher has got to have alot of humorous moments. A friend of mine was working in her Kindergartener's classroom one year near Halloween. She and the teacher were standing near a child who had written BOOB in large letters on a project. The teacher said, "what does the say?" and the child said "Boo"!
